Residents of Oceanside are calling for the resignation of one of many sanitation commissioners after they are saying dozens of inappropriate Fb posts have been found.
Chairman of the Oceanside Sanitation Board Austin Graff says Ryan Hemsley is the commissioner who posted footage that some residents discovered questionable. There are 5 commissioners on the sanitation board.
Just a few weeks in the past, the board obtained a letter from a involved resident. The letter included dozens of Fb posts by Hemsley. Graff says the posts have been anti-Semitic, homophobic, and anti-special wants. Graff says the posts are vile.
Graff says the board doesn’t have the ability to take away one in every of its commissioners. He says the one means for somebody to step down is that if the individual resigns.
“As quickly as I noticed it I spoke with him,” says Graff. “He confirmed to me that they have been his and I requested him to resign. He has not executed in order of but.”
Hemsley, who was elected in September, issued a press release to Information 12 saying, “…What I’ve seen to date, not all of the posts are mine. As I’ve acknowledged quite a few instances I’m so sorry to the individuals I’ve offended. It was by no means my intention and it’s not who I’m. I’m trying ahead to a radical investigation.”
